Food and Health Fact #42: An international ranking of child well-being

A UNICEF report published last September ranked the well-being of children in high-income countries, drawing on data related to physical health, mental health, and life skills (academic and social). Children in the United States ranked 36th overall out of 38 countries -- and 38th in physical health, reflecting the prevalence of overweight and obesity.
